Sportsbook - Frontend Team Lead at Betsson Group

Betsson is seeking a Frontend Team Lead to join its Sportsbook Area within Product Development. The ideal candidate will support the Engineering Manager in development, quality assurance, and product management, while also managing direct reports. This role involves working on a world-leading, high-performance, multi-brand betting platform, dealing with vast amounts of data and contributing to the tools used by traders and the features used by customers.

Role Involves:

• Ensuring successful project completion and providing support for roll-out services.
• Enabling continuous improvement and providing support when needed.
• Being responsible for vacation planning of direct reports.
• Holding one-to-one meetings to support individual performance and development.
• Motivating the team to improve performance and ensuring team member support.
• Leading team efforts toward successful project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining a focus on business goals.

Requirements:

• Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications.
• Good understanding of modern web technology (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular).
• Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ), and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL).
• Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate and coach staff.
• Strong people management & leadership skills.
