Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Sportsbook team in Malta. This role involves working on a world-class, in-house Sportsbook platform that is rapidly expanding into new markets. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of software development, from design to writing code and unit tests, and managing SQL and NoSQL databases.

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will be a key player in ensuring the team delivers the required business value for a high-performance, high-availability, and high-throughput multi-brand betting platform. The role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Involvement in all aspects of software development.
  • Designing, coding, and unit testing.
  • Managing SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ensuring the delivery of required business value.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in .NET/C#.
  • Experience with .NET Core WebAPI.
  • Strong SQL Server and NoSQL database skills.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate and share knowledge effectively.
