This job posting is for a Tech Lead position at the Sportsbook Area with Product Development, for their Budapest office. The company has a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house and is expanding rapidly in new markets. The Product Development team is global with cross-functional teams across five Tech Hubs.

As a Tech Lead, the candidate will be part of the Sportsbook B2B & Integrations Value stream, participating in development, ensuring quality delivery, aligning with architects, driving technical excellence, and identifying technical improvements. The Tech Lead will also be involved in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, and implementing new features.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should be a team player, proactive in suggesting and driving improvements, and possess strong experience in development, C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, messaging systems, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, distributed systems, SQL/NoSQL databases, coding best practices, and understanding of caching and release processes.

What this role involves:

  • Participate in the development effort of higher complexity tasks.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery by the development team.
  • Align with architects and other tech leads.
  • Drive technical excellence initiatives.
  • Identify and validate technical improvements.
  • Participate in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, and implementing new features.
  • Help build the team through technical interviews, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in development.
  • Deep understanding of C# and .NET framework/core.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration.
  • Expertise with distributed systems and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Deep understanding of coding best practices.
  • Understanding of caching, CDN, and infrastructure.
