Groupon is seeking a Senior International Payroll Specialist for a fixed-term contract in Prague. The Senior International Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across multiple countries. They will work closely with in-country payroll partners, finance teams, HR, and external vendors, driving continuous improvement and excellence in international payroll processes.Role involves:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes for various countries.
- Partnering with local providers to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Ensuring adherence to local, state, federal, and international payroll regulations.
- Collaborating with the Global Head of Payroll to identify and implement process improvements.
- Serving as a primary point of contact for payroll-related queries.
- Preparing regular and ad hoc payroll reports and analyzing data for trends.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in payroll management with a focus on international operations.
- Deep understanding of payroll-related compliance and tax regulations.
- Prior experience working with global payroll vendors and systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Technical proficiency in payroll systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
