Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead to join its Sportsbook B2B & Integrations Value stream. This role involves participating in the development of complex tasks and ensuring high-quality delivery from developers. The Tech Lead will work closely with architects, align with other tech leads, and drive technical excellence within Sportsbook. They will identify and validate technical improvements, explain benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences, and participate in development, testing, and code reviews.
Role involves:
- Participating in the development effort of higher complexity tasks.
- Ensuring a high-quality delivery by the developers.
- Working closely with architects to ensure alignment and implementation.
- Driving technical excellence initiatives within Sportsbook.
- Identifying technical improvements in the applications.
- Participating in development, testing, code reviews, and bug fixing.
- Helping to build a world-class team through technical interviews and coaching.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in development.
- Deep understanding of the latest C# and .NET framework/core.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core for building web-based applications.
- Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed database technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Deep understanding of coding best practices.
- Understanding of caching, CDN and infrastructure in relation to how customers interact with our site.
- Understanding of different release processes.
