Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead to join its Sportsbook B2B & Integrations Value stream in Athens. The Tech Lead will participate in the development of complex tasks and ensure high-quality delivery from developers. He will collaborate with architects to align technical direction and with other tech leads to ensure technical consistency. The Tech Lead will drive technical excellence initiatives within Sportsbook, identify and validate technical improvements, and explain their benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The role involves development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, and implementing new features. It also includes helping to build the team by participating in technical interviews and mentoring engineers, as well as staying updated with technology and implementing it strategically.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the development effort of higher complexity tasks.
- Ensuring a high-quality delivery by the developers.
- Work closely with architects within the area.
- Aligning with the other tech leads across the product development department.
- Identifying technical improvements in the applications.
- Participating in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing and implementing new features.
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years' experience in development.
- Deep understanding of the latest C# and .NET framework/core.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core.
- Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues.
- Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed database technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
