Job Description
Juno Veterinary is seeking a National Medical Director to champion the Juno standard of care across its Canadian clinics. This role involves medical mentorship, leadership, and collaboration with clinic operations to ensure medical excellence and team satisfaction. The National Medical Director will act as the voice of the Juno Standard of Medical Care across clinics and will partner closely with our Clinic Operations team to ensure we can deliver on our goals while staying close to our medical teams so you can understand how Juno supports them to thrive at work.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring medical care excellence and protocol adoption.
  • Developing strategies for practice performance and team satisfaction.
  • Partnering with various teams for smooth operations.
  • Developing and implementing medical SOPs.
  • Maintaining a clinic presence and schedule.
  • Driving performance and providing feedback to Lead DVMs.
  • Supporting DVM recruitment and talent review.
  • Serving as a medical resource for complex cases.
  • Enabling DVM team growth and career development.
  • Supporting recruitment and talent development.


Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Ability to practice in Ontario, Canada (non-restrictive license).
  • 10+ years of experience in general practice.
  • Previous leadership experience as a medical director or practice owner/leader.
  • Experience developing medical SOPs.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills.
