Job Description
GumGum is seeking a Sales Director to drive revenue for its market-leading advertising platform. This role involves prospecting and closing sales, focusing on the Central region, particularly Ohio and surrounding areas. The Sales Director will report to the VP, Central Sales, and will be responsible for developing key relationships with brands and agencies to promote GumGum's products.
Responsibilities: - Drive revenue for the Central region.
- Identify and qualify opportunities from marketing-driven leads.
- Generate sales activity through cold calling, presentations, and RFP responses.
- Upsell clients on current and new products.
- Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts, and clients.
- Translate client insights to the internal product team.
- Collaborate with account managers and internal teams.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Media or Marketing/Advertising field.
- Ideally 5 years of selling experience in digital advertising sales.
- Experience managing a book of business that is $5.5MM+.
- Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Programmatic experience a plus.
- Experience with IPG agencies a plus.
