Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Sr. Manager, Data Center Site Services to lead operations across complex data center environments. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of physical infrastructure, including capacity planning, power distribution, logistics, and vendor management. The Senior Manager will drive operational excellence, manage hardware installations and decommissions, mentor a high-performing team, and ensure coordination between cross-functional stakeholders.
What this role involves:
- Directing daily operations of multiple high-density data center sites.
- Leading strategic power and capacity planning efforts.
- Overseeing the full hardware lifecycle.
- Hiring, developing, and mentoring a diverse and inclusive team.
- Managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
- Building strong, collaborative partnerships with internal teams.
- Planning and executing expansion efforts across existing and new data center sites.
- Leading logistics operations.
- Developing and implementing standardized procedures and KPIs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data center operations or site services.
- 3+ years in a senior management or multi-site leadership role.
- Expertise in power distribution, capacity planning, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and logistics operations.
- Success in building and leading diverse, distributed teams.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor and contractor relationships.
