Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking an HR Operations Generalist to join their HR Operations & Shared Services Team. This role is based in Lehi, Utah, and involves bridging strategic HR initiatives with operational excellence. The HR Operations Generalist will be an individual contributor with wide scope, high impact, and autonomy in supporting employees and front-line managers across multiple countries.

The HR Operations Generalist will partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to guide managers in areas such as performance management, benefits, compensation, policy interpretation, and systems usage. The ideal candidate will be able to assess nuanced situations and act with limited guidance, serving as a trusted advisor to the organization.

Role Involves:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Guiding managers through key cyclical processes.
  • Collaborating with HRBPs and Legal on organizational changes.
  • Demonstrating expertise in HR tools and systems.
  • Optimizing key HR workflows.
  • Analyzing HR and organizational data.
  • Leading and supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Building cross-functional relationships.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in HR Operations or a client-facing HR role.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday and ServiceNow (or similar systems).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity of global employment and labor laws.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into clarity through communication.
