Manager, Partnerships & Philanthropy

Job Description

GiveDirectly is seeking a Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to foster innovative funding partnerships with philanthropists, foundations, and institutions. The Manager will oversee major grants and gifts, manage a pipeline of funding opportunities, and develop proposals. They will collaborate with GiveDirectly’s VP Partnerships & Philanthropy to track pipeline health and support fundraising goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting country and global teams with donor lead generation and engagement.
• Developing high-quality content for donor partnerships, including pitch decks.
• Drafting funding proposals, pitches, concept notes, and grantee reports.
• Providing oversight of fundraising pipeline reporting and revenue projections.
• Maintaining relationships with current partners and tracking their strategic priorities.
• Building and scaling systems for relationship management and grants administration.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong alignment with GiveDirectly's values.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Understanding of development and humanitarian assistance.
• A solutions-oriented approach.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a top private or public sector organization.
• Love data analytics, and have an ability to present complex information clearly for a variety of audiences would be an asset
