Manager, Partnerships & Philanthropy

Job Description

GiveDirectly is seeking a Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to help drive new and innovative funding partnerships with individual philanthropists, foundations, and institutions. The Manager will collaborate with GiveDirectly’s programs, special projects, and product teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong drive, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting country and global teams with donor lead generation and engagement.
• Developing high-quality content for generating new donor partnerships.
• Drafting funding proposals, pitches, concept notes, and grantee reports.
• Providing oversight and reporting on the fundraising pipeline and revenue projections.
• Maintaining relationships with current partners and tracking their strategic priorities.
• Building and scaling systems for relationship management and grants administration.

Requirements:

• Strong alignment with GiveDirectly's values.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Understanding of key debates and major players in development and humanitarian assistance.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a top private or public sector organization.
• Love data analytics, and have an ability to present complex information clearly for a variety of audiences would be an asset.
