Product Designer, Mobile

Job Description

KAYAK, a leading travel search engine, is seeking a skilled Product Designer to contribute strategically and lead projects for its mobile web and native app platforms. The Product Designer will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to build and test digital travel products. This role requires working from the Berlin office at least 3 days per week.

Role involves:

• Understanding customer needs in global markets.
• Crafting user-centered app designs considering insights and constraints.
• Taking ownership of design work and its outcomes.
• Producing concepts and prototypes for A/B testing.
• Applying systems thinking to scalable design.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Android design patterns and guidelines.
• Experience in consumer-focused product design.
• Ability to drive and ship features.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the product development process.
• User-focused design mentality.
• Experience with user feedback and experimentation.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
