Job Description
WPP is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver outstanding on-site support services to WPP employees, agencies, and visiting clients in Manila, Philippines. This role involves working within predefined structures, methodologies, and standards set by WPP ET. The IT Support Engineer will report to the Enterprise Technology Operations Lead and collaborate with other teams within Enterprise Technology.
Role involves:
- Providing on-site support to WPP agencies in Manila.
- Providing remote support to WPP agencies across the wider region.
- Ensuring IT deskside operations and standard technology services are delivered and supported.
- Leading a customer-centered culture and empowering end users.
- Logging all IT engagements into a ticketing system.
- Onboarding and offboarding employees, including user account administration and asset management.
- Managing Level 1 and 2 incident and problem management.
- Managing and supporting user and office relocations.
- Compiling and maintaining Service Desk knowledge base and standard procedures.
- Deploying hardware and software to end users.
- Managing IT asset procurement, inventory, and lifecycle.
- Supporting WPP Global in promoting global standards.
- Supporting other IT teams with IT changes.
- Performing basic device troubleshooting.
- Facilitating and supporting refresh of local infrastructure.
- Supporting the review of local licensing demand for software assets.
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years in an IT help desk / desk side support role.
- Strong cross-platform experience in Windows and Mac, along with working knowledge of AV technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately.
