Job Description
WPP is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver outstanding on-site support services to WPP employees, agencies, and visiting clients in Mumbai. This role is crucial for maintaining effective and efficient technology operations for WPP ET, providing support for level 1 and 2 issues, and assisting with project work as needed. The IT Support Engineer will report to the Enterprise Technology Operations Lead and collaborate with various teams within Enterprise Technology.

Role involves:
  • Providing on-site support to WPP agencies in Mumbai.
  • Offering remote support to WPP agencies across the wider region.
  • Ensuring IT deskside operations and standard technology services are delivered and supported.
  • Developing excellent relationships with the business user base.
  • Logging all IT engagements into a ticketing system.
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees, including user account administration and asset management.
  • Managing level 1 and 2 incident and problem management.
  • Deploying hardware and software to end users.
  • Managing IT asset procurement, inventory, and lifecycle.
  • Supporting IT changes and ensuring support priorities are localized and executed to plan.

Requirements:
  • 3 – 5 years in an IT help desk / desk side support role.
  • Strong cross-platform experience in Windows and Mac, along with working knowledge of AV technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately.
