Job Description
WPP is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of WPP IT services and supporting the company's ongoing transformation. The Senior IT Support Engineer will report to the IT Service Lead in Melbourne and collaborate with various IT teams.
Role involves:
- Providing on-site and remote support to WPP agencies in Jakarta.
- Ensuring the delivery of IT deskside operations and standard technology services, including AV.
- Developing relationships with key internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, and Admin).
- Leading a customer-centered culture and empowering end-users.
- Educating the business on IT service usage, policies, procedures, security, and compliance.
- Providing remote support to WPP agencies across APAC.
- Managing onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account administration.
- Handling Level 2 and 3 incident and problem management.
- Managing user and office relocations.
- Supervising the deployment of new hardware and software.
- Maintaining Service Desk knowledge base and standard procedures.
- Managing IT asset inventory and lifecycle.
- Supporting IT compliance activities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT help desk / desk side support role.
- Cross-platform experience in Windows and Mac.
- Can-do attitude and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
