Job Description
WPP is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient everyday operations of WPP IT, providing on-site and remote support to WPP agencies. This role involves dealing with level 2 and 3 issues, assisting with project work, and collaborating with various IT teams.
Responsibilities: - Provide on-site/remote support to WPP agencies in Kuala Lumpur.
- Ensure IT deskside operations and standard technology services are delivered.
- Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Lead a customer-centered culture and educate the business on IT services and policies.
- Provide remote support to WPP agencies across Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding.
- Handle level 2 and 3 incident and problem management.
- Manage user and office relocations.
- Assist with hardware and software deployment.
- Maintain Service Desk knowledge base and standard procedures.
- Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle.
- Support WPP Global in promoting global standards and local implementation.
- Support local IT compliance activities.
- Own escalation management with third-party suppliers.
Requirements: - 5+ years in an IT help desk / desk side support role.
- Cross-platform experience in Windows and Mac.
- Can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work with minimal supervision.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor under stress.
