Shopify Integration Engineer

Job Description

Eko is seeking a Shopify Integration Engineer to lead the seamless integration of its Shopify App and front-end components into client Shopify stores. Eko redefines the online shopping experience through interactive video, creating an eCommerce paradigm shift. In this customer-facing role, the engineer will directly engage with top-tier brands to understand their Shopify store architecture and themes, providing expert guidance on the integration process and ensuring flawless implementation. The engineer will collaborate closely with Eko's New York-based Account Management teams, contributing to customer success and optimizing store performance.

What this role involves:

• Serving as a technical advisor to customers, assisting with integration strategy and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Working closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations, and AM teams in New York) to identify business needs and implement suitable Shopify integrations.
• Providing technical support and training to customers on best practices for integrating Eko's product in their sales channels.
• Staying up-to-date with Shopify updates, third-party apps, and industry best practices to recommend new integration opportunities.
• Ensuring security, compliance, and data integrity across all integrations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development and integrations.
• Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Shopify APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to debug front-end layout, styling and web performance issues.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with clients.
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows, checkout customization, and order processing.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Account Management teams.
