UI/UX Designer

Job Description

Nomad is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join their Product team. The UI/UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver intuitive and functional interfaces across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing and developing engaging user experiences within fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative UI/UX solutions.
• Translate product requirements and user research into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Ensure consistency in design and user experience across all platforms and products.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and data analytics.
• Maintain design systems and contribute to the evolution of brand UI standards.
• Work in an agile development environment with short release cycles and a continuous feedback loop.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, user-centered design, and innovation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer in fast-paced environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design and development for responsive web/mobile products.
• Proficiency in front-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue).
• Experience using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools for interface design and prototyping.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and modern frontend workflows (Webpack, Git, npm, etc.).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Experience working within a product department and contributing to product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
