Senior Backend Engineer - Product & Dev Tooling

Job Description

Endor Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance their Application Security platform. This role is based in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining observability tools and infrastructure. They will empower internal teams and customers with actionable insights into the SaaS platform's health and performance. • Building systems and dashboards for SaaS platform visibility.
• Automating troubleshooting to reduce time to repair.
• Developing tooling and APIs in Golang for data insights.
• Partnering with architects and product managers on observability tooling.
• Driving instrumentation and metrics collection using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Championing reliability and performance across the engineering organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with backend development.
• Proficiency in Golang, building APIs and tools in microservices.
• Experience with observability ecosystems like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong SRE mindset with a builder’s approach to software and automation.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable monitoring infrastructure.
• Ability to design and implement technical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
