Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Optician to join their team in Dresher, PA. The Optician will play a crucial role in helping customers find the perfect eyewear. They will work directly with customers, providing exceptional service and expertise to ensure customer satisfaction. Warby Parker is looking for someone passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
What this role involves:
- Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Taking and recording measurements for eyewear.
- Adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy.
- Checking finished eyewear to meet optical standards.
- Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings.
- Helping customers choose frames and lenses.
- Collaborating with the team to improve sales and customer service.
- Representing the Warby Parker brand and educating others.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
- Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
- Clear, effective communication skills.
- Dedicated to customer satisfaction.
- Energetic, positive team player.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Open-minded and eager to learn.
- Takes work seriously, but not themselves.
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
