Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Optometric Technician to work in their NYC HQ Showroom. The Optometric Technician will work closely with Optometrists to provide patients with an excellent eye exam experience. They will manage a high volume of patients, complete pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, deliver video-assisted eye exams, and collect data.
Responsibilities: - Act as a liaison between doctor and patient.
- Perform preliminary clinical data collection.
- Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments.
- Support new contact lens wearers with insertion and removal training.
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare reports for other medical professionals.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and privacy policies.
- Maintain an organized exam room.
- Support the retail sales team.
