Job Description
The Payments & Fraud Shift Leader role at Betsson involves handling payment-related inquiries from customers and internal/external parties. The primary goal is to deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing the customer in every action and facilitating internal communication, while also providing guidance to payment analysts.

Responsibilities:
  • Allocating and prioritizing tasks during the shift.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for 3rd party providers regarding payment-related issues.
  • Taking ownership of issues during the shift, managing them effectively, and minimizing customer impact and workload.
  • Answering escalations from customer support and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Handling payments and risk queries and escalations from customer support via chat, IM, and emails.
  • Cooperating with the Payments & Fraud Team Leader on team issues.
  • Working with the Payments & Fraud Team Leader to improve and maintain procedures.
  • Raising trends in escalations that indicate potential generic payment-related issues.
  • Monitoring ongoing tech issues and ensuring proper follow-up to minimize downtime and customer impact.
  • Serving as the point of contact for payment and fraud-related issues or questions.
  • Processing internal crediting requests.
  • Assisting other team members as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to fraud and risk prevention rules.
  • Assisting in payment processing when needed.
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive working environment.

Requirements:
  • Good command of English
  • Previous experience in customer support
  • Previous experience in an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Background in customer service (face-to-face, online, or via phone calls)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc)
  • Prior experience in the iGaming sector or payments/finance is highly valued
  • Eagerness to learn and develop
  • Proactive and forward-thinking skills
  • Work on rotating shifts
