Job Description
Figure is seeking a Manager, Digital Asset Accounting to oversee accounting operations, focusing on digital assets, wallets, and tokenized products within Figure Markets. This role involves shaping the financial infrastructure across various asset classes, ensuring compliance, automation, and precision. The Manager will lead month-end and year-end close processes, reconcile cash and digital wallet accounts, and collaborate with engineering and product teams. They will also implement integrations with digital asset accounting tools, maintain internal controls, and support the Controllership in preparing reports.

  • Supporting new product launches.
  • Maintaining documentation of product and process flows.
  • Mentoring and developing a small team.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in crypto, DeFi, or digital asset accounting.
  • Knowledge in wallet infrastructure, blockchain ledger tracing, and asset reconciliation across chains and custodians.
  • Working knowledge of tokenized assets and blockchain-based settlement mechanisms.
  • A cross-functional mindset with the ability to partner across product, engineering, compliance, and tax.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities.
