Job Description
Tailscale is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. This role involves ensuring test plan coverage for the growing feature set, working closely with product and engineering to understand new and existing features. The QA Engineer will execute test plans, track issues, and collaborate with engineers to ensure a smooth release process.
Role involves:
- Designing and executing comprehensive test plans across multiple platforms.
- Assisting with test automation.
- Collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Proactively testing existing features.
- Tracking release blockers and triaging incoming issues.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience testing applications across various environments.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
