Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Lightning AI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of the UI and frontend infrastructure of their platform. The ideal candidate will take ownership of key features, driving development from end to end in collaboration with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers. The role involves:

• Writing readable, testable, and efficient code in React and Redux.
• Partnering with engineering and product leaders to develop the user interface and frontend infrastructure.
• Evaluating, strengthening, and documenting technical architecture, tools, and processes.
• Championing software quality, implementing automation, and driving continuous delivery.
• Mentoring and coaching engineers on system design and problem-solving.

Requirements include:

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience as a frontend engineer in a SaaS technology company.
• Proven ability to take ownership of key features and drive end-to-end development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate in high uncertainty and rapidly changing environments.
