Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to contribute to the testing of luxury electric vehicles. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing test automation scripts using the Python Appium client for Android and iOS mobile apps, as well as web applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring high-quality product delivery.

The QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving Lucid’s test automation processes. They will analyze test results, report defects, and track progress to ensure timely resolutions. The position also requires staying updated with emerging technologies and optimizing the test automation process.

  • Designing and implementing test automation scripts using Python Appium.
  • Utilizing Xcode simulators and Android emulators for mobile app testing.
  • Designing and implementing robust Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create test plans and strategies.
  • Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and tracking their resolution.
  • Developing and maintaining automated regression test suites.
  • Performing end-to-end testing of mobile apps with connected car systems.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Python Appium client for automation.
  • Strong experience in test automation for Android and iOS mobile applications.
  • Solid experience in web automation.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, and Risk Assessments.
  • Excellent analytical skills for designing comprehensive Regression Scenarios.
  • Experience in Test Results Analysis, Defect Reporting, and Defect Tracking.
  • Familiarity with connected car systems and in-car integrations testing.
  • Strong ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
