Job Description
Whatnot is seeking an Inside Account Executive to join their Categories and Expansion team. This role focuses on driving the expansion of Whatnot’s supply by acquiring and nurturing new livestream sellers. The Inside Account Executive will manage their own portfolio and the entire sales cycle, from pitching to onboarding, providing strategic coaching, and facilitating growth. The goal is to consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management.

Role involves:
  • Deeply understanding the end-to-end sales process.
  • Becoming the go-to expert on scaling business with Whatnot.
  • Sourcing and prospecting sellers.
  • Leading sales calls with seller prospects.
  • Closing sellers and onboarding them onto the platform.
  • Utilizing key data points to assess seller growth.
  • Collaborating with internal partners to develop business growth strategies.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
  • Experience selling and closing deals.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills.
