Forward Deployed Engineer - Architect

Job Description

DevRev is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - Architect to join their team. This role involves designing and deploying AI agents using the DevRev platform to solve customer problems. The ideal candidate will integrate AI agents with external platforms, optimize performance, and translate customer needs into technical specifications. They will also lead live demos, build prototypes, and refine solutions based on customer feedback. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy AI agents
• Integrate systems with AI agents
• Optimize performance of AI agents
• Own requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Prototype and iterate solutions
• Lead execution of deployments
• Advise customers on AI agent architecture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Golang
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and modern DevOps practices
• Comfortable integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, and event/data pipelines
• Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and metrics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer empathy and a focus on solving customer problems
