Contentful is seeking a Senior Web Marketing Engineer for a fixed-term contract. This role involves enhancing and optimizing Contentful's digital experiences, working closely with Web Marketing, Design, Content, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will drive impactful projects that support Contentful’s growth and customer engagement.Role involves:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing Contentful’s marketing website and digital properties.
• Working with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Collaborating with designers, content strategists, and marketing stakeholders.
• Ensuring website performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Driving technical decisions to enhance website infrastructure.
• Contributing to continuous integration, deployment, and automation strategies.
• Troubleshooting front-end performance and integrations.
• Providing mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a front-end or full-stack web developer.
• Expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions (ideally Contentful) and API-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, and server-side rendering techniques.
• Strong understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with marketing technology stacks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, Git, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams within an agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
