Equity Options Trader

Job Description

IMC is seeking an experienced Equity Options Trader to join their fast-growing team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on strengthening the group, tackling new challenges, and expanding coverage to more symbols and regions, with a particular focus on positional trading strategies. The successful candidate will maximize revenue by creating competitive edge trading strategies, using and improving the existing signals suite. They will have significant responsibility and ownership early on, driving strategies forward.

IMC fosters a highly collaborative environment between traders, quants, and developers, allowing for a fluid scope of responsibility involving both operational trading and data-driven analysis. The company has established partnerships and business models to facilitate expansion and is actively working to improve options pricing by investigating new models and enhancing the existing framework.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience as an equity option trader
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (graduate or post graduate) in mathematics, science, financial engineering, or computer science
• Proven ability to perform in a fast-moving and high-pressured environment
• Passion for learning and a drive to succeed
• Ability to work well individually and in a team
• Experience in computer programming (Python, C/C++, Java, Matlab, SQL) is a plus
• Highly analytical skills
