Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

MERGE is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Data/Analytics & Omnichannel Strategy team. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader with mastery of Business Intelligence principles and methodologies.

This role involves providing best practice leadership in Business Intelligence Consulting and helping define and evolve the company's BI Strategy. The Senior Analyst will oversee and drive to completion a wide variety of business intelligence and data visualization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain technical relationships with vendor partners.
• Provide technical guidance to clients in achieving business objectives.
• Foster an environment for training and growth.
• Lead discovery sessions with customers to define data requirements.
• Distill functional and technical specifications into Value Roadmaps.
• Set standards for delivery through engaging data visualizations.
• Provide strategic oversight to customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a related field.
• 5+ years’ BI / Analytics project or system administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of BI and data visualization tools (Domo, Datorama, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
• Expert understanding of Business Intelligence Consulting principles.
• Experience with a wide variety of business data.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to effectively manage customer expectations and project deliverables.
