Job Description
Glean is seeking a Partner Manager in Japan to drive partnerships within the generative AI landscape. This role involves building relationships with Cloud, VAR, Reseller, SI, and GSI partners in the enterprise search and knowledge management category. The Partner Manager will strategically plan and deliver cross-functional strategies to achieve sales and partnership goals.
- Develop and manage alliances with VAR, Reseller, SI, and GSI partners.
- Create and drive a co-sell motion.
- Support partner marketing and pipeline generation via events and GTM campaigns.
- Manage deal pipeline.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and execute joint go-to-market plans.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
- Ensure successful delivery of partner-driven projects.
- Track and report on key performance metrics.
- Identify new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
- Ensure partners have the necessary training, resources, and support.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 10+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances, primarily in a sales capacity.
- 5+ years of direct sales/channel sales/management experience within the data, cloud or SaaS space.
- Strong business development and sales background.
- Experience building and growing GTM partnerships.
- Knowledge of the enterprise SaaS sales motion.
- Native or highly fluent Japanese speaker.
