SDE - React & iOS

Job Description

Twitch is seeking a skilled SDE to join their Community Discovery & Engagement team. This role focuses on developing features that help communities form, grow, and thrive on Twitch's web and mobile platforms. The SDE will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data analysts to deliver solutions that connect viewers and empower streamers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong frontend and mobile development background, with experience in React and iOS development. They should be passionate about influencing the direction of new features and have a proven ability to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product managers, technical leads, and other engineers to design, develop, launch, and operate interactive experiences and products
• Deliver high quality user experiences on both Web and Mobile surfaces.
• Collaborate with both your team and related teams - fostering shared understanding of how to solve problems and deliver solutions
• Work backwards from customer problems to drive business impact

Requirements:

• 1+ Years experience developing software in a professional environment
• Prior experience building consumer-facing products at scale
• Proficient coding skills in modern languages and frameworks such as React, Swift, Objective-C
• Proven ability with thinking though and delivering quality user experiences.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
