Hardware System Test Engineer

Job Description

Graphcore is seeking a Hardware System Test Engineer to join their Product Test and Diagnosis team in Cambridge, UK. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of high-performance computer system hardware through the development and deployment of manufacturing test solutions.Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing test software for hardware testing.
• Conducting test coverage analysis and planning.
• Collaborating with Contract Manufacturing partners to deploy test solutions.
• Providing technical support to CM partners and creating standard operating procedures.
• Supporting failure analysis for reliability issues and field returns.
• Working cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Supporting manufacturing test solutions from NPI through to high-volume production.
• Collecting and analysing test results for data-driven decisions.
• Root causing technical issues across hardware and software.

Requirements include:

• Experience in manufacturing test of advanced electronic systems.
• Good understanding of electronics fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, Bash, and Git.
• Experience using the Linux command line.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Ability to solve problems in complex electronic systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
