Job Description

DEPT® is seeking a Group Account Director to lead the CRM/Onsite and Advertising workstreams for eBay. The Group Account Director will oversee strategy development and execution, managing a team to deliver innovative solutions that drive revenue and engagement. The role requires a blend of account management and strategic planning, ensuring high standards of work and fostering a proactive and energized team culture.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and executing annual strategies in partnership with senior clients.
  • Overseeing teams to create compelling digital content and advertising campaigns.
  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring the team to achieve excellence.
  • Managing contract negotiations and overseeing commercial agreements.
  • Delivering and tracking profitable growth for clients.
  • Ensuring constant innovation across all deliverables.
  • Contributing to the creative process with strategic insights and ideas.
  • Overseeing budget management for campaigns and ongoing activities.
  • Managing relationships with platforms and partners.
  • Presenting work internally and externally.
  • Completing work to deadline, often under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in roles servicing clients in an agency environment.
  • Proven track record in managing large client and agency teams.
  • Experience with complex campaigns, including paid social and CRM.
  • Confident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to create a proactive and energized team culture.
  • Experience working directly with director and C-level clients on strategy development.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
  • Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment.
