DEPT® is seeking a Group Account Director to lead the CRM/Onsite and Advertising workstreams for eBay. The Group Account Director will oversee strategy development and execution, managing a team to deliver innovative solutions that drive revenue and engagement. The role requires a blend of account management and strategic planning, ensuring high standards of work and fostering a proactive and energized team culture.
Role Involves:
Developing and executing annual strategies in partnership with senior clients.
Overseeing teams to create compelling digital content and advertising campaigns.
Leading, motivating, and inspiring the team to achieve excellence.
Managing contract negotiations and overseeing commercial agreements.
Delivering and tracking profitable growth for clients.
Ensuring constant innovation across all deliverables.
Contributing to the creative process with strategic insights and ideas.
Overseeing budget management for campaigns and ongoing activities.
Managing relationships with platforms and partners.
Presenting work internally and externally.
Completing work to deadline, often under pressure.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in roles servicing clients in an agency environment.
Proven track record in managing large client and agency teams.
Experience with complex campaigns, including paid social and CRM.
Confident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaigns.
Strong leadership skills, able to create a proactive and energized team culture.
Experience working directly with director and C-level clients on strategy development.
Excellent project management skills, with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment.
