Job Description
The LA28 is seeking a Head of Real Estate Acquisitions to oversee the temporary acquisition of real estate properties for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role is within the Logistics department and reports to the Senior Director, Logistics.

Role Involves:
  • Building RFP strategies for selecting a Real Estate Broker.
  • Identifying real estate requirements for competition and non-competition venues.
  • Assessing real estate risks and market trends.
  • Overseeing site selection, property acquisitions, and lease negotiations.
  • Managing financial transactions related to property acquisitions.
  • Updating real estate tracking documents and providing status presentations.

Requirements:
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience in end-to-end Commercial Real Estate portfolio management.
  • Experience in the Los Angeles, CA market a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Possession of a CA Real Estate Broker’s License.
  • Extensive knowledge of short-term real estate, facilities management project management, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
