Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Manager, Material Planning to support the Logistics department for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. This role involves assisting in the identification, sourcing, and management of all material requirements for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E). The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Work with LA28 Functional Areas to identify FF&E requirements.
- Assist with the creation of a FFE material catalog.
- Help build and maintain a material inventory database.
- Assist with the implementation of the FFE data gathering system.
- Participate in the development of the FF&E procurement schedule.
- Assist in sourcing all FF&E ensuring procurement procedures are fulfilled properly.
- Support the Change Management Process for FFE allocation.
- Monitor, track venue / commodity specific and inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Experience in end-to-end Material Planning a plus
- Previous Material Planning experience in a major event is strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong IT skills including MS Office
- A team player with a strong customer service focus
- An undergraduate degree in Logistics, or relevant field
