Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Description

Motive is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join its Enterprise Systems team. In this role, the developer will be responsible for implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that impact Motive’s growth. The developer will work with internal Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Finance teams.Responsibilities:

• Develop efficient and quality code on the Salesforce platform.
• Understand project scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations and present technical solutions.
• Respond to and resolve production disruptions.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices and maintain code documentation.
• Write maintainable code with test coverage and follow CI/CD practices.
• Analyze business needs and design tailored solutions using Salesforce products.
• Optimize existing Salesforce implementations.
• Maintain production quality and contribute to technical documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of Salesforce application development experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or higher.
• Expertise in CPQ, LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, and Javascript.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, & Experience Cloud; Commerce Cloud experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
• Experience with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components.
• Proficiency in CI/CD DevOps procedures, GitHub, GearSet.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with Zuora Billing, Netsuite is a plus.
• Experience with TDD, QA testing and framework testing a plus.
