Job Description
IPG is seeking a Vendor Support Specialist to assist vendors with the Ariba SLP vendor portal. The Vendor Support Specialist will use their knowledge of the Ariba system to assist new and existing vendors with the creation of their Ariba profiles, navigating to the IPG registration page, and managing updates. Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively instruct domestic and international vendors of varying levels of technical expertise in the proper use of the Ariba SLP system.
The role involves: - Monitoring a support ticket tool for vendor issues.
- Maintaining a database of common issues and resolutions.
- Communicating with vendors via email or Microsoft Teams meetings.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the Ariba registration process.
- Acting as the primary contact between IPG and Ariba support.
- Assisting in routine inactivation of expired registration invitations.
- Active involvement in the expansion of the use of the Ariba SLP system.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree preferred, or applicable experience in lieu.
- Confident/experienced user of Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to understand and manage complex systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Ariba SLP is desirable.
- Successful track record of effectively managing competing priorities.
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment with limited remote work alternatives.
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
