Job Description
Truveta is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and contribute to their mission of saving lives with data. This role is based in the Greater Seattle area and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within a supportive startup environment. The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for improving healthcare in far-reaching ways. They will be working on solving problems in learning, decision making and optimization with AI that can have a direct impact on people’s lives.
Role involves:
- Building and evaluating DNNs from scratch, optimizing model size and architecture.
- Fine-tuning LLMs and multi-modal models using supervised and reinforcement learning.
- Designing reward functions or graders for Reinforcement Fine-Tuning, especially with LLMs.
- Building AI agents using agentic frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen.
- Building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience building production ML engineering systems in a team setting.
- 1+ years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms and languages (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with crafting modular APIs and building engaging and intuitive web experiences.
- S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
