This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of tax calculations and expanding the e-file product to accommodate a wider range of tax scenarios. The Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in driving revenue and adhering to compliance standards, enabling seamless e-filing with the IRS and various states.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate federal and state tax forms and instructions into structured logic for engineering teams.
  • Advise product and engineering teams on tax-related inquiries.
  • Test the output of tax software to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay informed on new developments and changes in individual tax codes.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • EA or CPA certification (or in progress).
  • 3+ years of experience filing individual income taxes.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
