Job Description

air up® is seeking a Tech Support Engineer to join their team in Munich. The Tech Support Engineer will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing day-to-day support for both on-site and remote workers. This role involves managing the IT infrastructure, including laptops and on-site IT equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive and high-quality day-to-day IT support to employees in the Munich office and remote workers.
  • Manage the seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring their IT needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in supporting both Mac and Windows environments, addressing user concerns and troubleshooting issues on both platforms.
  • Manage and support SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and others, ensuring employees can effectively collaborate using these platforms.
  • Oversee the organization's IT inventory, maintaining accurate records of hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and user guides for common issues.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Support environment.
  • Experience managing Windows and Mac environments.
  • Experience with Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and good command of German.
