Job Description
Solaris is seeking a Senior Data Protection Manager to join their team in Berlin. This role involves working towards compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other data protection regulations. The Senior Data Protection Manager will report directly to the Data Protection Officer and act as a senior advisor for departments and senior management.

Role Involves:
  • Executing controls
  • Investigating potential data breaches
  • Supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments
  • Conducting Third Party Risk Assessments and Third Country Risk Assessments

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a specialized law firm, in-house, or consultancy firm
  • Ideally, previous working experience in banking and finance
  • Full proficiency in English; ideally fluent in German
  • Higher education degree
  • Very good knowledge of applicable regulatory standards
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
