Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team at the state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Erith. The Engineering Technician will be integral in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing equipment breakdowns, and completing repairs. The role involves working at height, using access equipment, and maintaining accurate data records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System.

Role Involves: - Delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnosing equipment breakdowns and resolving issues.
- Completing repairs.
- Maintaining accurate data records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Supporting the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures.
- Finding solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.
- Working a shift pattern to support a 24/7 operation.
Requirements: - Engineering qualification (advantageous).
- Hands-on experience.
- Good technical understanding of automation hardware and software (ideally).
- Good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems (ideally).
- Organised and meticulous with great analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Comfortable working safely at height.
- Happy to work to a 24-hour shift pattern.
