Freelance Designer

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Designer to contribute to their growing team. The Designer will be responsible for leading design work, with a focus on digital and CRM email design. They will provide smart, thoughtful design that elevates the brand experience across digital platforms.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, upholding design standards, and managing individual workstreams. The Designer will also develop concepts, communicate ideas, and balance strategic development with client business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the design of digital experiences, primarily email and CRM
• Translating brand principles into cohesive designs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Contributing to and upholding design standards
• Managing workstreams and client communications
• Developing concepts and communicating ideas

Requirements:

• 2+ years of digital design experience with a strong portfolio
• Proven experience in digital and email design
• Expertise in Figma
• Knowledge of UX principles
• Experience in motion design or After Effects is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage projects end-to-end
• Proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously
