Job Description
Aerospike is seeking a Security Engineer, DevSecOps to join their team. This role is remote within the USA. The Security Engineer will be responsible for integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability management, and automating security processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a strong understanding of cloud platforms and containerization.Aerospike is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an environment free from discrimination.Responsibilities:
  • Integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Ruby)
  • Working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response
  • Familiarity with security tools (vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, compliance automation)
Requirements:
  • 2–4 years in security engineering, DevSecOps, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.)
  • Security certifications (AWS Architect, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, SANS/GIAC)
  • Experience in automating security processes and monitoring
  • Technology, SaaS, FinTech, or Cloud Services Experience
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare) is a plus
