Job Description
Karya is seeking a Coordinator - Work Management (Kannada language) to join their team in Bangalore. Karya's mission is to provide AI-enabled earning and learning opportunities to economically underserved communities. The Coordinator will foster a positive community environment, oversee financial transactions, and ensure the quality of app content through internal reviews and testing. This hybrid role requires working with marginalised communities, and treating individuals with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in English, Kannada, and fluency in at least one regional language (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil) is essential.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for community members and app users.
  • Organise and facilitate community engagement activities, training sessions, and onboarding processes.
  • Provide first-level support to address user inquiries, concerns, or complaints.
  • Actively collect, document, and relay feedback from users to the project and technical teams.
  • Oversee financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Regularly review app content, ensuring it aligns with project guidelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct internal testing of new app features, updates, or workflows.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in community coordination, financial management, or content review roles.
  • Degree or diploma in social sciences, business management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Kannada and fluency in at least one of the following languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil
  • Experience working with marginalised communities and a deep understanding of their challenges and needs.
