Senior Product Designer, Contract

Job Description

Scale AI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to enhance the operator experience. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address operator needs. This role involves bringing clarity to complex problems, designing high-quality solutions, and justifying design decisions based on user feedback.

The Senior Product Designer will also make informed tradeoffs between short-term and long-term goals, guided by business needs. They will adopt and expand the existing design system to ensure consistent style and quality across all products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process to improve the operator experience
• Understand operator needs and creatively solve their pain points
• Bring clarity to the complex problem space throughout the design process
• Design, refine, and ship high-quality designs
• Justify design decisions based on user feedback and insights
• Make appropriate tradeoffs between short term and long term goals
• Adopt and expand design system

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High level of proficiency in Figma and other design tools
• Desire to influence the design process and culture
