Finance Operations Senior Manager

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Finance Operations Senior Manager to lead finance operations for its Singapore and Malaysia entities. This role involves managing core finance operations, driving process excellence, and acting as a key bridge between finance and other functions. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in financial institutions and a foundation in Big 4 audit.What This Role Involves:

• Leading daily finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and month-end close.
• Managing and mentoring the local finance ops team.
• Improving and optimizing the month-end closing process.
• Reviewing quarterly financial packages and coordinating with Group Finance.
• Preparing finance updates for quarterly board meetings.
• Collaborating with Treasury and Tax departments.
• Leading regional finance on ad-hoc projects.
• Liaising with external auditors.
• Strengthening and implementing robust internal controls.
• Driving automation and implementing systems to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• A good understanding of the Crypto industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CA is a must and MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance operations with at least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
• Big 4 audit background is required.
• Strong background in regulated environments such as financial services.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia environment, accounting standards, and tax rules.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite), data extraction tools (e.g. Python/SQL), RPA tools (e.g. UiPath) and other reporting tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
• Flexible-minded, hands-on and able to multi-task.
